Keynote: Reb Menachem Mendel of Kotzk and Abraham Lincoln: Transforming Psychological Faults into Spiritual Strengths

One was the greatest president of the United States; the other a Chassidic Rebbe in a Polish shtetl. They lived at the same time, but they surely never heard of each other. Surprisingly, they had much in common. Each had lofty principles, each confronted the challenges of leadership, and each struggled with melancholic tendencies. This lecture explores the personal lessons that we can learn from these heroic figures.
